“It’s because of him and LGBTQ+ activists that I can be visible,” Koo wrote. “So thank you, I’m proud to be on your team.”
Today’s #BiVisibilityDay, and honestly, I still struggle with being out and proud.
It’s been 7 years since @JoeBiden came out in favor of marriage equality, and it’s because of him and LGBTQ+ activists that I can be visible. So thank you, I’m proud to be on your team. pic.twitter.com/w6gTaf9WVz

Biden saw her tweet and told her she has “nothing to be ashamed of and every reason to be proud.”
“Living open and free is a daily act of bravery — bravery that resides in your heart and in the hearts of LGBTQ people around the world.”
Amy, you have nothing to be ashamed of and every reason to be proud. Living open and free is a daily act of bravery — bravery that resides in your heart and in the hearts of LGBTQ people around the world. I’m proud to have you on our team. #BiVisibilityDay https://t.co/mv5vyQIkAp
