Evangelical Christians are discussing tips on “Surviving the Rainbow Onslaught” this year now that President Joe Biden is flying rainbow flags and hiring LGBTQ people.

“The world is upside-down when American pride is something we should apologize for, but sexual perversion is the stuff of parades,” said Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins on his PRAY VOTE STAND webcast.

“You can’t turn on the television, shop for cereal, or scroll through Facebook without being hit over the head with LGBT Pride,” he complained. “Thanks to ‘woke’ corporate America and the most radical administration in history, there’s no escaping the left’s fourth sexual revolution.”

Perkins said that Pride Month – which now “rivals Christmas” – is especially bad this year because “we have a president that’s flying the Rainbow flag above the U.S. flag at our embassies.” As he said that, a picture of a flag flying at the U.S. embassy in Seoul, South Korea during the Trump administration showed on screen.

He also attacked the Biden administration for hiring too many LGBTQ people.

Echoing every conservative Christian for the last half century, Perkins said that LGBTQ people used to want tolerance but now they’re asking for too much.

“They demand validation, affirmation, celebration,” he said. “Pride is the new religion! Everyone must bow a knee to their sexual gods or face the left’s fiery furnace.”

He accused LGBTQ people of “shaking a collective fist in the face of God” while praying because “we read throughout Scripture, the downfall of man is pride.”

His guest Wayne Grudem responded, “The spiritual forces behind Pride Month have tipped their hand.”

FRC might seem like a fringe group, but they held sway in the Trump administration as executive officials publicly engaged with them both while they were in office and after, as well as with other Republicans in D.C. They were allegedly involved in crafting Trump’s transgender military ban, host the annual Values Voters Summit that many top GOP brass attend, and Perkins even got appointed to a Congressional commission on “religious freedom.”

In the private sphere, they advised Facebook and Twitter on how to protect free speech and their staffers have gone on to impact history for the worse.

FRC is an SPLC designated hate group because they routinely say that LGBTQ people are a threat to everyone else.
