This is your last week to have your voice heard in this year’s LGBTQ Nation Heroes.
The editors at LGBTQ Nation picked 40 nominees in eight categories who we thought best represented what it means to be a hero in the community. They are people who selflessly helped others, represented LGBTQ people with dignity, or fought for freedom and equality.
They are people who got laws passed even as so many lawmakers were out to get LGBTQ people – especially trans youth – this past year. They are people who spoke out as conservatives brought back the age-old “groomer” libel. They are people who showed that the LGBTQ community is diverse and fierce and strong and proud.
You can vote for your heroes every day this month, once per device, until September 30.
