The View announced that Caitlyn Jenner will be guest-hosting the show today, fresh after finishing in 13th place in California’s gubernatorial recall election with about one percent of the vote.
And the announcement has fans angry at the long-running news show for booking her, comparing Jenner unfavorably with former co-host Meghan McCain.

“Should be an interesting discussion,” Jenner tweeted about the guest-hosting gig.

This past year, Jenner ran for governor in a recall election to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom (D). Her campaign was marred with constant gaffes, often about Jenner’s contempt for the homeless but also mis-steps as she lied about not voting in the 2020 election and attacked trans people to position herself as a conservative who can win a statewide election in California.
Newsom handily won the election, and even among the possible challengers Jenner got few votes and delivered a bitter concession speech.
And losing badly didn’t lead to her reconsidering her politics – she tweeted support for Donald Trump’s proposed wall along the entire U.S.-Mexico border just yesterday.
Finish the wall!!

The publicity generated by the campaign could still result in Jenner coming out on top. McCain, the daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), announced her departure from The View this past July after a contentious relationship with her more liberal co-hosts, leaving a spot open for a new co-host.
The View has several co-hosts who discuss hot topics and interview public figures, and often one of them is conservative. But fans don’t appear excited that Jenner is the conservative co-host today.
Others were just vicious with The View for picking someone so unpopular for the show.
Suddenly Meghan doesn't seem that bad

No, Thank You; I'll watch anything else other than her interview. Her talking points about trans-youth are a clear present Danger to those who want to be accepted, helped, and heard in our LGBTQIA+ community.
