Antigay activist Theodore Shoebat has been on quite the rampage lately, stating that Jesus would have personally beaten gays to death and generally being so extreme he’s managed to put off other antigay activists.
One of those is Michael Brown, who dashed off a column that calls Shoebat’s views “utter rubbish.” This, in turn, caused Theodore’s vibrantly crazy father Walid to join the fray.
On Monday, Theodore and Brown faced-off on Brown’s “Life of Fire” radio program, where Shoebat hastily posted one of his many Facebook posts to further explain why he believes violence is the best way to deal with gay activists.
Brown asked Shoebat if he thinks it’s good when Christian activists in other countries physically beat people marching in gay pride parades. And would he like to see that happen in America?

“I’ll give you a short answer,” Shoebat said. “To the first question: yes; to the second question: yes, absolutely.”
He claimed physically attacking gay activists was theologically justified and celebrated the nations where this was happening.
“I wish America had this stuff,” he said.
Asked what he thought of the violent knife attack during a gay pride parade in Jerusalem last year, Shoebat replied “it really doesn’t bother me, to be honest with you.”
“They see it as protecting their society from this invasion,” he said, “and it is an invasion.”
He then praised authorities in Peru for turning fire hoses on gay activists:
“You have to have a society that has a cultural hatred for homosexuality, they despise it so much they don’t want to tolerate it.”
