South Dakota lawmakers killed their fourth anti-transgender bill this legislative season.

In a session full of wild claims about transgender people, only one more anti-trans bill remains active.

The law bans “instruction in gender identity or gender expression may be provided to any student.”

But a different anti-trans bill passed out committee yesterday.

Lawmakers have dealt a blow to a bill that would have discriminated against transgender students.
