Antigay forces upset over the film’s “gay moment” shelved it, citing “our values and responsibility toward our younger audiences.”

After disappointing fans, Malaysia’s largest theater operator decided to go ahead and show the full film despite orders to cut LeFou’s kiss.

Government censors had demanded one scene be cut, saying it is “inappropriate because many children will be watching this movie.”

“If I can’t sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it,” the owners wrote on Facebook.

You always knew there was something going on between Gaston and LeFou.
