Donald Trump’s lesbian niece says Marjorie Taylor Greene is trying to “bribe” him to be VP

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) dreams of being Donald Trump’s running mate are no secret. She has talked about her dream of being Trump’s righthand woman on several occasions.

But Mary Trump – Donald Trump’s lesbian niece and a clinical psychologist – argues that Greene and 2024 GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy went one step further this week to advance their political ambitions, giving what Mary Trump says amounts to a “bribe” to her uncle.

“Vivek Ramaswamy and Marjorie Taylor Greene just bribed Donald with immunity,” she wrote on her Substack. “The media missed it.”

Mary Trump focused on Ramaswamy’s claim at the fourth GOP debate this week that the January 6 insurrection was an “inside job.” In a later interview, he said that “there was at the very least entrapment of peaceful protestors,” referring to the events where the Capitol was violently broken into, around 140 police officers were injured, and five people were killed as the mob chanted for the death of Mike Pence.

She also brought up a tweet from Greene calling the attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election and install Trump as president “a Fedsurrection and undercover agents set people up with entrapment.” There is no evidence that it was perpetrated by government officials instead of ardent, far-right Trump supporters.

“This isn’t the usual pandering to a wide unhinged base,” Mary Trump wrote. “Instead, it seems to be a plea to an audience of one: Donald.”

Mary Trump said that this is an attempt to be vice president since they “both know they can’t be president.” They know that Donald Trump values loyalty above picking a vice president who can speak to a specific constituency and that “Donald is hell bent on ruling as a dictator.”

“In his last term, Donald consistently showed a propensity to act unilaterally, outside of the democratic processes, only to be occasionally thwarted by people like General Mark Milley and Mike Pence,” she wrote. “Both Greene and Ramaswamy know that, if Donald is elected again, he’ll give yes-men like them significant power—if the American people are far-gone enough to grant him a second administration.”

Mary Trump wrote that they’re also trying to show that they will pardon him if he’s in prison before his inauguration in 2025 and can’t pardon himself (the question of whether a president has the legal right to pardon themselves is not settled).

“I know for a fact that he’s scared out of his mind about being imprisoned. He is actively seeking loyalists NOW who have the power to give him a get-out-of-jail-free card,” Mary Trump wrote.

She said that her uncle’s attempt to become a dictator – something that he admitted he’d do but said he would only be a dictator “on day one” of his presidency – isn’t being talked about enough in the media and that she’s trying to “get the word out and sound the alarm before the 2024 election approaches.”

Mary Trump has long been a critic of her uncle and his administration. She sued Donald Trump and other relatives in 2020, claiming that they cheated her out of a large part of her inheritance. She lost her case.
