Elliot Page and Mae Martin have fans wondering if they are more than just friends.

The pair attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend, and the red-carpet photos along with their social media posts sparked speculation that they might be dating.

“My King @elliotpage took me out,” Martin captioned an Instagram post featuring photos of the two of them in Gucci suits earlier this week.

Page also posted on the social media platform about his night out with Martin, thanking Gucci, the event’s sponsor.

But it was the #t4t hashtag on Martin’s post that really has fans shipping the two, not to mention that the nonbinary creator of Netflix’s Feel Good referred to Page as their “king.”

As Glamour notes, #t4t stands for “trans for trans,” and generally refers to a transgender person who prefers to date other trans people.

Neither actor has commented on the speculation yet, but they have been friends for years. In a 2021 New York Times profile, Martin recalled meeting Page at a bar when they were both 19. In July 2021, they both shared a photo of themselves having drinks, with Page captioning the pic “Chilling with this heartthrob,” while Martin called the Umbrella Academy star a “true stud.”

The following month Martin posted a photo of the pair getting matching tattoos.

Page, who came out as transgender in 2020, filed for divorce from his wife, dancer Emma Portner, in early 2021. This summer, he revealed in a subsequently deleted Instagram post that he has signed up for a dating app for the first time ever. When Page shared a new passport photo around the same time, Martin commented with a flirty “Yes please sir.”
