President Joe Biden left a conservative journalist speechless when he clapped back at her accusatory question by mentioning the hold the QAnon conspiracy theory has on the GOP.

Biden returned to the White House from Cincinnati late last night, taking a question from Shelby Talcott of the far-right Daily Caller on the South Lawn as he was turning in.

“We answered enough questions today,” he told her. “The only reason I’m stopping: I feel badly you’re here this hour of the night.”

Talcott decided that that was the moment she would finally get Biden to admit that he and the whole Democratic Party secretly want to end funding for the police.

“Mr. President, can you clarify what you said about no— that there’s no— no one in the Democratic Party is anti-police?” she asked.

He said he never said that, explaining that defunding the police is “not the Democratic Party’s position,” saying that the most powerful Democrats in the country are not calling for defunding the police.

“Okay.  And are there people who — in the Democratic Party, who want to defund the police?” Talcott insisted.

She did not get the answer she wanted.

“Are there people in the Republican Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?” Biden shot back.

“I- I… I’m not sure…. Are there people in the Democratic-” she said as Biden walks away.

Biden was referring to the QAnon conspiracy theory that many Republican voters – and even many elected officials, like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) – believe in and propagate. The conspiracy theory falsely says that there is a secret international pedophilia cabal that involves Hillary Clinton, Tom Hanks, and other Democrats and celebrities that Donald Trump was secretly fighting against when he was in the White House but was thwarted by shadowy figures in the “Deep State.”

Conservative media has been trying to paint the Democratic Party as a whole as opposed to funding the police. Fox News’s Peter Doocy repeatedly asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about it despite the fact that Biden and Congressional Democrats increased funding for the police this year while Congressional Republicans opposed the funding bill.
