Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was outraged at former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki for mentioning that Donald Trump may die one day.

People responded to Boebert by pointing out that she publicly prayed for President Joe Biden to die.

Boebert shared a post on X from MAGA influencer Joey Mannarino that included a clip from Psaki’s appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe yesterday, where she discussed the motivations of some Republicans in Trump’s orbit.

“They also assume, or have this thought in their mind that maybe Donald Trump will go away,” she said. “Maybe he’ll go to jail, maybe he will die. Not to be too morbid, but maybe – he’s not a young man.”

“This is the same group of people who claim their motto is ‘When they go low, we go high,'” Boebert said, quoting former First Lady Michelle Obama.

“I’d hate to see what low looks like if this is high.”

Psaki, of course, wasn’t saying that she hopes Trump dies; she was discussing how others around him might be thinking about what would happen if he did die. This is different from Boebert, who prayed for the death of President Biden at the Charis Christian Center in Colorado Springs during their June 2022 Family Camp Meeting event.

“I do want you to know I pray for our president,” Boebert said. “Psalm 109:8 says, ‘Let his days be few and another take his office.’”

People brought this and Boebert’s long history of hateful statements up.
