Adult film actress Stormy Daniels took the witness stand in Donald Trump’s hush money case yesterday, describing an alleged coerced sexual encounter between her and the former president while Donald Trump cursed her so loudly the judge had to tell his lawyer to get him to knock it off.

While Donald Trump denies that he had a sexual relationship with Daniels while he was married to his third wife, Melania Trump, his niece – out clinical psychologist Mary Trump – pointed out one detail in Daniels’s testimony that was particularly damning.

Donald Trump faces 34 felony charges in New York related to payments he allegedly made through his lawyer to Daniels to keep her quiet about their alleged affair as he ran for president in 2016 and the allegedly falsified business records used to conceal the payments.

Daniels described how she met Donald Trump at a golf event in 2006, how he complimented her and invited her to dinner, and how he cornered her in his hotel suite that night in order to have sex with her. She said that he didn’t threaten her directly but that she knew his bodyguard was outside the suite and that Donald Trump “was bigger and blocking the way” to get out. She said that Donald Trump told her that his wife wasn’t sharing the room with him and shared a picture of her.

After the sexual encounter, Daniels testified, “It was really hard to get my shoes because my hands were shaking so hard.”

“He said: ‘Oh, it was great. Let’s get together again, honeybunch,’” she continued. “I just wanted to leave.”

That detail stood out to Mary Trump.

“Based on some of what she shared under questioning by the prosecutor, I suspect much of it was incredibly humiliating for Donald as Daniels shared some intimate details,” Mary Trump shared on her Substack.

“Donald told Daniels that he reminded her of his daughter, Ivanka,” Mary Trump continued. “And he called her ‘honeybunch.'”

” I can reveal this to you now: honeybunch is my family’s preferred term of endearment.”

As Daniels testified, Donald Trump audibly and visibly reacted so much that Judge Juan Merchan had to call his lawyer, Todd Blanche, to the bench to discuss proper courtroom behavior.

“I understand that your client is upset at this point, but he is cursing audibly, and he is shaking his head visually and that’s contemptuous. It has the potential to intimidate the witness and the jury can see that,” Merchan said, according to the AP. “I am speaking to you here at the bench because I don’t want to embarrass him.”

“I will talk to him,” Blanche said.

Daniels testified that Donald Trump’s “fixer,” attorney Michael Cohen, approached her during the 2016 campaign and worked out a deal to pay her $130,000 to keep quiet about her relationship with Donald Trump, which lasted until 2012. She talked about the emails she saved that showed them working out aspects of the alleged deal.

This was shortly after the Access Hollywood tape – where Donald Trump bragged about how he felt he was allowed to sexually assault women and “grab them by the pu**y” – dominated the news cycle, and his campaign didn’t want another story of Donald Trump’s sexual misdeeds to get media attention.

The AP reports that the jury “appeared riveted” during Daniels’s testimony. Donald Trump’s lawyers asked for a mistrial after Daniels testified, arguing that it was “the kind of testimony that makes it impossible to come back from” and not “fair to President Trump.”

Judge Merchan rejected the motion and chided Donald Trump’s lawyers for not raising more objections during the testimony if they actually felt that her testimony was prejudicial.
