Folks are ruthlessly mocking Donald Trump’s former senior advisor, anti-immigrant, white nationalist, anti-LGBTQ+ extremist Stephen Miller, for calling the former president a “style icon” during a recent appearance on Fox News.

“The most stylish president and first lady in our lifetimes are Donald Trump and Melania Trump,” Miller exclaimed energetically. “Donald Trump is a style icon! He changed American fashion in The Apprentice. People spent the next 10 years trying to dress like Donald Trump.”

“So, if anybody deserves a puff piece on their sense of style, it’s Donald Trump and the First Lady,” he added.

Miller’s comments reportedly stemmed from outrage over a New York Times piece praising President Joe Biden’s “dapper” sense of style.

“Joe Biden looks like a walking corpse!” Miller said on Fox. “The only style article to be written about Joe Biden is how you have mastered the art of looking embalmed because that is what Joe Biden looks like every single day when they jerk him up and he goes about his schedule.”

Folks on X had a lot to say in response. You could almost hear the laughter through the screen as users shared photos of some of Trump’s “best” looks and pointed out people like Miller’s cult-like obsession with the former president.

Miller is considered the “chief architect” of Trump’s Muslim travel ban and has also spoken out against “transgender ideology” which he claims means that “people are whatever they want to be” and violates America’s “Judeo Christian heritage.”

He claims that LGBTQ+ people are “in our elementary schools teaching young people that there are no boys and girls, men and women, but in fact, people are whatever they want to be, which has profound implications for medicine for culture, for religion, and for truth itself.”

In 2019, hundreds of emails sent by Miller were leaked that showed an obsession with white nationalist views. Of the 900 emails obtained by HateWatch, 80 percent were about race or immigration.

In the emails, he shared stories about crimes committed by non-white people and repeatedly stressed his opposition to immigration. He linked to the neo-Nazi website VDAREwhich promotes the myth that “nonwhite people are systematically and deliberately wiping white people off the planet.”

Miller told Politico in March that he believes attacks on transgender rights “will help [the] GOP win midterms” in 2022, and now he’s focusing on anti-LGBTQ+ activism. He also co-founded the organization America First Legal, which has taken part in lawsuits aiming to rollback LGBTQ+ rights. The group claims that “America First principles are now under attack like never before.”
