Fox host accuses Joe Biden of doping for the State of the Union address in unhinged rant

Fox News host Jesse Watters is scrambling for a way to denigrate what many agree was a very strong showing by President Biden during the State of the Union address.

Biden has been praised for his vigorous energy and resolve as he delivered his speech, and many believe his performance should put to rest any worries that he is not up to the task of a second term due to his age.

With his fiery State of the Union address, the president put to rest the fears that he’s not up to the job.

But Watters has another theory: Biden was on speed.

Watters posited that the only way Biden could have possibly done a good job Thursday night was if he took drugs to keep his energy up. “I’m not a doctor, but they’re giving him something,” he asserted.

“If you see a horse, and the horse is old and injured and mopes around the barnyard, and then all of a sudden you race the horse and he fires out of the gate and laps everybody — what did they give the horse?” Watters said.

He then parroted the Republican claim that Biden has been sluggishly moving through his first term, barely able to stay awake or form a coherent thought—all of this despite the fact that Donald Trump, only three years younger than Biden, is the one who has been repeatedly mixing up words, people, and events during his speeches.

“The man has walked around lethargically for the last three years,” Watters said of Biden. “Barely picks his head up, can’t hear, is out of breath, falls asleep, skips dinners internationally, dies out during funeral processions.”

“All of a sudden, this guy is, like, on speed or something. To dismiss it like, ‘Oh, he’s definitely clean.’ He should pee in a cup because there is no way Joe Biden can sustain that type of energy.” 

Watters’s accusations are especially ironic considering a recent report from Rolling Stone that the Trump White House was “awash in speed.” One source described it as “the Wild West,” saying that any drug someone wanted they could get. Sources also said senior staffers would regularly mix Xanax and alcohol to cope with the stress of their jobs.

Watters took Fox News’s primetime slot after Tucker Carlson was fired last year and has repeatedly come after the LGBTQ+ community. In an unhinged segment in November, host Watters and fifth-place swimmer Riley Gaines raged at Target for selling a nutcracker with a Pride flag – which the store has been selling since at least 2021 – and a Black Santa Claus using a wheelchair. He also applauded a UFC fighter’s homophobic rant about rejecting gay kids.

In February, he went on a rant about President Joe Biden eating ice cream in public, which is apparently something a real manly man would never do.
