A Twitter user has gone viral after posting about an unexpected moment with his mom.

“mom asked if Grindr is for ‘ordering subs’ and I just walked out of the room,” he posted.

Grindr, the queer social app, is not nearly the same as the hot submarine sandwich (known as a grinder in New England). Although, as several other users pointed out in reply, you can, in fact, use the app to order up subs for delivery.

Returning to Twitter and seeing that his tweet had gone viral, the user replied to himself, saying “ugh my mother is going to kill me! and i am definitely ordering a meatball sub for dinner.”
