Former First Lady Melania Trump is being described as “vibrant, happy and confident” by her friends and sources inside Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago resort.

They also say the two barely see each other now and that’s what has made life better for her.

Melania “seems to have found her own interests away from the spotlight,” a source told People magazine. “She makes an appearance with Donald for certain dinners, but spends much of her time with her own family.”

“This is a way of life for her and she likes it, especially in Palm Beach.”

“She knows what Donald wants from her,” another person added, “but the rest of her life is dictated by her own interests. Each has come to respect what the other wants and needs.”

The couple’s relationship is described as “liveable” now that they’ve updated and expanded their living quarters at the private club. They reportedly rarely see each other beyond public appearances together.

Melania allegedly spent a large amount of time outside of the White House complex at her parents’ home in Maryland while Trump was in office. After the election, they also moved to the club. Now her “inner circle consists mainly of her sister and her parents,” according to the insider.

The couple’s teenage son, Barron, attends school nearby.

Melania reportedly celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary by “working on some exciting projects.” The two had dinner together.

The Log Cabin Republicans have tried to remake the former First Lady into an LGBT icon without success. Instead, the group has been widely mocked for their desperate attempts to find something positive for the LGBTQ community to come out of the Trump administration.
