Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared a video of a traumatized girl “testifying” in front of a school board that she’s being taught to hate white people and how to “turn” transgender yesterday as part of her ongoing smear campaign against the LGBTQ community.

The Congress member claimed that teaching children about gay and transgender people is “emotional child abuse.”

The girl in the video is obviously distressed as her mother hovers over her shoulder while the youngster reads the speech, which includes several wild claims about what she is being taught in school.

“Listen to this child,” Greene tweeted with a broken heart emoji. “Every single person needs to hear her.”

“BAN Critical Race Theory & STOP sexualizing children NOW with tax payer funded education.”

Critical race theory is a school of thought developed by law professors that examines the role of racism in the legal system. It is not taught in elementary and middle schools.

“Teaching racism and promoting sex, homosexuality, & normalizing transgender to children is mental/emotional child abuse.”

Greene has a long history of anti-LGBTQ comments, and her career in politics started by protesting Drag Queen Story Hours.

She introduced a bill to ban the rainbow flag from flying at U.S. embassies and co-sponsored an anti-trans bathroom bill.

She introduced multiple motions to shut down Congress just before it debated the Equality Act, which would ban anti-LGBTQ discrimination. The motions didn’t pass, but they forced her colleagues to vote on the pointless motions and ate up over an hour of debate time to make the point that LGBTQ discrimination should remain legal. She called the Equality Act “DISGUSTING, IMMORAL, AND EVIL” in a statement.

Greene put up a sign that said “There are TWO genders: MALE & FEMALE. ‘Trust The Science!’” in response to Rep. Marie Newman (D-IL) putting up a transgender flag outside of her office. Newman’s child is transgender.

The internet was quick to respond as users pointed out that she had used a slur to describe children with Down’s Syndrome and the congress woman’s history of repeating outlandish lies and anti-LGBTQ talking points. They also chastised Greene for once again using a child as a political pawn.
