While all of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s vice presidential possibilities had strong LGBTQ records, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) certainly stands out.

Harris’ stepson, Cole Emhoff, also stands out, but for a different reason: he’s a hottie that has gay men’s hearts fluttering.

Emhoff and his sister Elle call the veep nominee “Momala” and reportedly have a close connection with the U.S. Senator from California.

A Colorado College graduate, Emhoff may have stiff competition when it comes to building a fan base. Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, even has his own Twitter hashtag for his superfans: #DougHive.

He isn’t out as gay or bi, but that won’t stop thirsty queer men across the nation from taking a second look. Just like Harris herself, he could be an asset to the campaign.

“Cole and Ella could not have been more welcoming,” Harris wrote in an essay for Elle about her family. “They are brilliant, talented, funny kids who have grown to be remarkable adults. I was already hooked on Doug, but I believe it was Cole and Ella who reeled me in.”

The LGBTQ community is already hooked on Biden and Harris. And if the early reaction is any indicator, Emhoff is going to reel them in.
