“Please remember to put pants on before leaving the house to check your mailbox,” the message said, before getting oddly specific. “You know who you are. This is your final warning.”

The message has been shared over 11,000 times, almost two times the population of Taneytown, as people all over the country asked who the message was referring to.
On The View, host Whoopi Goldberg asked Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) about the pants-less person.
“Now I know they weren’t talking about me,” Whoopi said. “But do you know who they were talking about?”
“Apparently there’s somebody in this small town who keeps going to check his mail without any pants on. This is not part of any executive orders on our part,” Hogan replied, laughing. “I’m hoping he was wearing a mask at the time.”
“He should probably put his pants on but at least he’s not getting [near] people,” the governor added.
The message was a joke, the Maryland Daily Record reports, which apparently means that the residents of Taneytown can continue to go outside without pants on without worrying about legal repercussions.
