Conservative activist and commentator Bryan Fischer said that it doesn’t matter if South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is a top or a bottom, he’s not getting into heaven.
Fischer is the former Director of Issues Analysis for the anti-LGBTQ hate group American Family Association, and he currently has a radio program called Focal Point on American Family Radio.
Last week, televangelist Franklin Graham accused Buttigieg of flaunting his homosexuality and said that he should “repent.” Fischer talked about those comments on his radio show this past Monday.
“Franklin Graham told Pete Buttigieg, the homosexual mayor of South Bend, Indiana, ‘Rather than flaunting your homosexuality, rather than prancing around in front of the entire nation, flaunting your homosexuality, you need to repent of your homosexuality,'” Fischer said.

Fischer went on to list sins mentioned in 1 Corinthian 6:9-12, and got into more detail than most fundamentalists do.
“Men who practice homosexuality, and the term that Paul uses there, he uses two different terms: one for the active participant, the other for the passive,” Fischer said.
“In the homosexual community, one is called the bottom; the other is called the top,” he said. “Paul is talking about both parts of a homosexual liaison – neither of them is going to make it into the eternal kingdom.”
Fischer did not explain what sexual positions he imagines Buttigieg taking, but maybe that’s for the best.
