A video of LGBTQ activist Keshav Suri performing in drag with his mother has gone viral.

Suri, who is the executive director of Lalit Hotels, posted a video on Twitter of him and his mother performing the classic song “Kaisi Paheli Zindagani” in drag.

“My mother is an inspiration to millions, she is Mother India,” Suri wrote. “She not only has made life better for me, now with this, is showing parents how its done.”

The video has been viewed almost 50,000 times on Twitter.

Earlier this year, India’s supreme court ruled the country’s sodomy ban, Section 377, unconstitutional. Suri was one of the people who petitioned the court in that case.

Last week, Suri married his partner Cyril Feuillebois in celebration of the court’s ruling.
