She raged at the marchers, calling them “groomers” as the joke went over her head.

While many of the events were virtual, it didn’t stop New Yorkers from flooding the streets to march, protest, dance, and spread their beautiful queer joy.

While law enforcement’s involvement in Pride is one issue, it is far from what has caused the schism between the two groups dueling to put on the city’s top march.

NYC Pride organizers will drop official NYPD security & not welcome police groups until 2025. LGBTQ law enforcement groups called their decision “shameful” and invoked Stonewall in their defense.

“There are families out there in middle America, throughout the country, that are going to see this and it’s going to give hope to young people.”

Jazz’s first time experience at Pride as an out queer woman came with the opportunity to hear their stories directly from them.

This senior just recently attended their first Pride, once again proving it’s never too late to live proud and free.

Pride always looks best in pink.
