Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) is being mocked for finally speaking what many consider the truth during a Monday town hall event.
Greene was expressing frustration that Republicans have not succeeded in fulfilling what voters want when she declared, “As a matter of fact, our Republican House majority has failed completely.”

He also bragged about being the person responsible for the overturning of “Roe v. Wade.”
Greene has made herself the brunt of the joke with this one, especially since a significant amount of the productivity-halting chaos in the House has been fueled by her as of late.

Two weeks ago, she filed a surprise motion to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) because he allowed the House to vote on a $1.2 trillion government funding bill that included funding for “trans ideology,” as she put it. The bill, which largely excluded her and other far-right Republicans’ desired anti-LGBTQ+ provisions, cleared the House on March 22 in a 286 -134 vote. She has since continued a ruthless vendetta against Johnson and has repeatedly accused him of being in the pocket of Democrats.
With only seven months left until the general election in November, some Republicans are worried that kicking out the Speaker will “further expose the chronic disarray in the House Republican Conference and the difficulty it has had in governing,” The Washington Post reported.
Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) said, for example, “It’s not only idiotic, but it actually does not do anything to advance the conservative movement. And in fact, it undermines the country and our majority.”
Rep. Greg Pence (R-IN) said, “This isn’t good for the party. When I go home, people are tuning out what’s going on in the House because of the lack of progress, the chaos that’s happening. And I’d like us to get together and work together. We’re moving in the wrong direction of getting together.”
Naturally, the Internet has had a field day with Greene’s remark, with many pointing out that she basically created an ad for President Joe Biden’s campaign.
