Rightwing pundit and podcaster Alex Jones is explaining what he meant when he said that he wants to “eat your leftist a**,” saying he didn’t mean it as a sexual comment. Rather, it was meant to express his desire to commit cannibalism.

Jones posted a meme yesterday picturing him looking thoughtful along with a quotation that read, “I will eat your leftist a**.”

People mocked him for his extremely odd choice of words.

In one response, Jones indicated that he was fully aware of his comment’s sexual connotation and claimed that it was “a joke.”

But, about two hours later, he came up with another explanation for his word choice, saying that he was literally referring to cannibalism.

“The left has misunderstood what my intention was in posting this meme,” Jones wrote. “I am taking [sic] about the road warrior collapse that has already begun because of the policy’s [sic] of The Great Reset. I am taking [sic] about Cannibalism as defined as the consumption of another human’s flesh. 10 days without food and over 80% of people start eating each other. You guys want to bring down civilization so I just wanted to warn you. Good luck…”

The Great Reset Initiative is an economic recovery plan from the World Economic Forum following the COVID-19 pandemic that is intended to rebuild the global economy in a “resilient, equitable, and sustainable” way. The plan has been criticized by both the left and the right. While some conservatives have claimed that President Joe Biden will “bring the Great Reset to the United States,” the plan is not legally binding.

Jones was then mocked for making his comment even worse.

Jones leaned back into the idea that it was all a joke, actually, and posted a remix of him saying “I will eat your leftist a** like corn on the cob.”

Jones is a conspiracy theorist and an anti-LGBTQ+ extremist. He has repeatedly claimed that Michelle Obama is transgender as part of his conspiracy theories and that Hillary Clinton is a lesbian.

He has also long-peddled a conspiracy theory that the government has put chemicals in the U.S. drinking water to turn Americans more feminine and has cited the made-up “fact” that most frogs in the U.S. are gay now as “proof.”

He has been banned from several social media platforms, including YouTube and X, for his conspiracy theories, but he was brought back to X after Elon Musk purchased the platform.
