Conservative pundit says January 6 insurrectionists should have had “gay sex” in Congress

Conservative podcaster and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk discussed a hypothetical situation related to the January 6 insurrection: if the insurrectionists had started a gay orgy instead of vandalizing the Capitol, attempting to kill elected officials, and beating police officers, none of them wouldn’t have been prosecuted.

“Right now, there are hundreds of peaceful people that went into the Capitol on January 6th [who are] gonna have to navigate the job market, the corporate market, family relations, neighborly relations, and public humiliation being called an insurrectionist in what is a major humiliation trial,” Kirk complained on The Charlie Kirk Show. Conservatives often refer to the over 2,000 rioters who forced their way into the Capitol in an attempt to change the results of the 2020 election to prevent President Joe Biden from taking office – resulting in the deaths of five people – as “peaceful” in order to downplay the violence of that day’s events.

“But to be fair, they did something wrong,” he said. “They could have done things a lot differently. You see, the problem is that the MAGA patriots on January 6th, when they went into, for example, the Senate… where the Senate votes, or they went into some of the hearing rooms, they should have stripped naked and filmed themselves having gay sex.”

“That would have solved all the problems.”

Kirk then discussed Republican Party of Los Angeles vice chair Siaka Massaquoi, who was arrested in December 2023 in connection to his participation in the January 6 insurrection. He allegedly illegally entered the Capitol building an hour after the initial breach, recorded himself inside, and posted video to social media. He faces several disorderly conduct and trespassing misdemeanors.

“But Siaka, he should have done the Holy Sacrament that keeps the Democrat party and the regime together,” Kirk said. “He should have just had gay sex and filmed it, and everything would have been just fine.”

Kirk’s statements about how more people should be having gay sex – he’ll get no disagreement from this website on that specific point – were related to a statement from Capitol Police released yesterday saying that federal and local prosecutors have not recommended criminal charges for former Senate staffer Aidan Maese-Czeropski, who allegedly filmed himself having sex in a Senate hearing room in December.

Maese-Czeropski has already lost his job. Moreover, his dalliance didn’t result in anyone’s death.

Kirk came under fire earlier this week when he said that he doubts that Black pilots can be qualified for their jobs.

“I’m sorry. If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified,’” he said on his podcast ThoughtCrime.

On a separate episode of the podcast this week, he said he doesn’t watch movies “because they’re all CIA psychological operation programming.”
