Marjorie Taylor Greene roasted for her support of Donald Trump despite his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is a person of many contradictions, and none is bigger than her constant accusations that everyone she doesn’t like is a pedophile or a sex trafficker while she remains former President Donald Trump’s biggest supporter in Congress, despite the many allegations of sexual abuse that have been made against him, a court ruling that he sexually assaulted a woman, and his close connections to child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

At a House Oversight Committee hearing yesterday, Greene held up nude, sexual pictures of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, while accusing Democrats of ignoring human trafficking, something she accuses Hunter Biden of. He is not being prosecuted for sex trafficking, but there is evidence that he paid for the services of adult sex workers in the past. Greene has pulled this stunt in the past. It’s unclear why she would show the images other than to try to humiliate Hunter Biden.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) decided to call her out on her hypocrisy. She has shown herself to be an ardent supporter of Trump and has practically begged for years to be named his running mate when he runs for president in 2024. Last week, Trump was named in court documents related to the case against child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, with one witness saying he had sex with “many girls.” Trump was an associate of Epstein’s in the 90s, and he has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least 26 women.

“The gentlelady from Georgia, I know is such an advocate for women’s rights, as she mentioned, and is so concerned about grooming, and apparently we don’t have any standards here anymore,” Moscowitz said of Greene as he reached for a giant picture of Trump and Epstein together. “Again, I just want to remind my colleagues, because I don’t want them to forget about hypocrisy, OK? I don’t want them to forget about hypocrisy.”

People could be heard shouting in the background.

“Donald Trump was asked about Jeffrey Epstein, and when he was asked, he said, you know, Jeffrey likes them young, but how did the president know that?” Moskowitz asked Greene. “How did he know that Jeffrey Epstein likes them young? Perhaps, some people are saying, he was there, since you’re so concerned, right?”

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) called a point of order and accused Moskowitz of “the impugning of the former president’s character.”

“I don’t have to do that, he does that himself,” Moskowitz snapped back.

Comer pointed to a rule of decorum that bans members of Congress from disparaging the president, and Moskowitz asked why adult pictures are allowed, referring to Greene’s pictures of Hunter Biden. An unknown person suggested showing adult pictures of former President Bill Clinton.

Comer said that the rule about not disparaging presidents was suspended with respect to Joe Biden but that it’s still in place for Trump.

“You’re making the point that we can disparage Joe Biden but not Donald Trump?” Moskowitz said. “Please, make that point to the American people.”

“You come up here and talk about Hunter Biden’s behavior, and you’re so disgusted, but the guy that you all kneel to associates himself with a pedophile,” Moskowitz continued. Republicans objected – Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) shouted, “I kneel to Christ!” – and Moskowitz changed his wording from “kneel” to “very much support.”

Republicans have spent the past several years attacking Hunter Biden and his business dealings. Hunter Biden has spoken in the past about his decades-long battle with addiction. Republicans hope that highlighting his behavior will decrease support for Joe Biden in the 2024 elections.
