Drag queen accuses Lauren Boebert of lying about her relationship with bar owner

After Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was caught groping a man’s genitals in a crowded theater in the presence of children earlier this month, she strongly implied that it was her first date with the man in question and that she’ll never see him again.

Well, a drag queen who works at the bar owned by the man called Boebert out and is speaking publicly about how Boebert has been seeing him for quite some time.

Boebert – who is an outspoken opponent of drag – was kicked out of a performance of the musical Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre in Denver two weeks ago for a litany of reasons, including vaping next to a pregnant woman and refusing to stop when asked, singing loudly, and recording the show. She was on a date with Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher, and security camera footage later revealed that Boebert and Gallagher were fondling each other during the performance even though children were present at the show.

Boebert later told TMZ that she “learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date” and that “all future date nights have been canceled” with Gallagher, who is a Democrat.

“This was a first date?!?!?!” journalist Aaron Rupar tweeted incredulously.

Now drag queen Kendra Metric – who works at Gallagher’s bar – is speaking out.

“I don’t like that girl for Quinn!” Kendra told TMZ, adding that she only found out about all the “horrible things” Boebert has said over the years after the story of Boebert getting kicked out of the theater broke.

The interviewer asked her if that was Boebert and Gallagher’s first date, and Kendra held up a finger to say “no.”

“It wasn’t, come on!” she said. “First date and somebody’s touching your boobies like that in a theater? No.”

“Actually, because we know, you know that in town… I don’t wanna tell you, I mean, what I know, but I know… I can tell you just a little bit: I know that they were dating for a while, for months.”

Kendra stressed that she really likes working with Gallagher, who she praised repeatedly in the interview, but she doesn’t like his relationship with Boebert because “I don’t like this girl.”

“I don’t understand why she has that hate speech all the time,” she continued. “Who cares what I do in my bed if I’m gay or not, I don’t know why people care so much about what you do in your bed.”

“At least I do that in my bed and not a theater.”
