The break-up of the minute just got realer, as social media star Avery Cyrus finally spoke out Tuesday on the reason for her split with Dance Moms alum JoJo Siwa: “JoJo broke up with me,” Cyrus claimed.

“I’m saddened and confused,” added the popular TikTok influencer in a statement to E! News.

The blurt comes three days after news of the split, shared by Cyrus in a TikTok video in which Siwa can be heard saying, “sorry for breaking up with you present.” The pair were on a Royal Caribbean cruise together.

Added Avery in the comments: “We decided we are better off as friends!”

“We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out!” the 22-year-old exclaimed. Siwa turns 20 in May.

The pair went public three months ago when JoJo shared a Chuck E Cheese photo booth moment of the couple and the caption “Happiest girl.” The pic followed Siwa’s on and off again relationship with singer Kylie Prew.

Days later Cyrus and Siwa made their red carpet debut together at the premiere of Alanis Morrisette’s jukebox musical Jagged Little Pill.

An Elton John concert and a very public trip to Disney World with Siwa’s family followed, but the Siwa clan has seemingly soured on Cyrus. Over the weekend, JoJo let loose in a video her mom shot and posted to her Instagram stories.

“Why are you mad?” Jessalynn Siwa can be heard asking her daughter.

“Because I got used, for views and for clout,” Jojo seethes. “I got tricked into being told I was in love and I got f**king played.”

Cyrus sees it differently.

“From my perspective, me and JoJo left on great terms and are still friends,” she said Tuesday. “The relationship was very real, and I have nothing but love for JoJo and her family.”

She added: “I’m still very hurt.”

On Monday, Cyrus was back on TikTok with her ex-girlfriend, Sophia Mosca. The two revealed they’re going on a trip to Europe together.
