Donald Trump appeared confused in an interview last night with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, forgetting that the conversation was about a metaphorical wall and talking about the U.S.-Mexico border wall he campaigned on in 2016.

Moments later, he was bragging about how he “aced” a cognitive screening for dementia two years ago.

Hannity and Trump were criticizing President Joe Biden when Hannity used the expression “banging your head against the wall.”

“So you keep banging your head against the wall. Why would you expect a different result?”

Trump said: “So we would have had the wall completed in three weeks. It was largely completed. We did almost 500 miles of wall.”

Journalist Aaron Rupar pointed out that Trump bragged about how he “aced” a cognitive screening for dementia, the same one that he took two years ago. As in, the infamous “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.” test.

“I went and took a test, and as, uh, Dr. Ronny Jackson who’s great, great guy, now he’s a Congressmen, they love him in Texas, but they said, ‘He aced it,’ and I don’t think you ever saw anyone ace it.”

The American Academy of Neurology recommends people over the age of 65 get screened annually to check for cognitive impairment.
