Video of a female college student punching a misogynist campus preacher has gone viral as police investigate the alleged assault.
The incident occurred at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) this past Tuesday, according to AL.com, and witnesses said that two campus preachers were carrying offensive signs.

The signs said that women “belong in the kitchen, they shouldn’t be in college… just really misogynistic stuff,” according to one witness.

The video shows a female student in a blue T-shirt shoving one of the preachers and knocking him to the ground. She then gets him in a headlock and pushes him over, punching him repeatedly while other students look on.
Campus police officers then break up the fight.
UAB administration is not releasing more information about the incident.
“There was a concerning, very unfortunate altercation on campus yesterday between demonstrators and what appeared to be a student,” a spokesperson said. “We cannot comment further at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation.”
The school has not said if there were any injuries or arrests as a result of the incident.
