#BiWeek has officially begun and Twitter is celebrating.
While a 2011 study showed that over half of LGB people identify as bisexual, the group tends to get written out of the larger LGBTQ community so often, the term “bi erasure” has become commonplace.

While September is Bisexual Awareness Month, this week is the center of attention as groups, politicians, and celebrities honor the community and bisexual people around the world speak out and stand up.
