Raven-Symoné married her girlfriend & you can see all the love in the pictures

Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman, the actor who played 3-year-old Olivia on the 1980s sitcom The Cosby Show and star of the mid-2000s Disney kids’ TV series That’s So Raven, announced via Instagram on Thursday that she had married her girlfriend, Miranda Maday.

The two married in an outdoor ceremony and the famous actor posted images of the event online for her two million Instagram followers to enjoy.

“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” the actress wrote on an image of the couple embracing. “I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new asshole!!! I’s married NOW.”

Over 500,000 fans liked her picture and 15,600 left supportive comments on her image. She later wrote, “The outpouring of love and congratulations have filled our hearts immensely. Thank you to everyone!!!! I won’t bombard y’all with too many pix, but yeah more music soon! Hehe.”

The actress came out in August 2, 2013 in a statement expressing her joys over the expansion of same-sex marriage in certain U.S. states.

“I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted,” she said. “I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however, am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.”

Before coming out, her sexual orientation was the subject of much speculation after the National Enquirer reported in 2012 that she was living with an out gay America’s Next Top Model contestant, to which she then tweeted, ”My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.”

In addition to her film, TV, and animation voice acting career, she has also released four studio albums.
