Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced at NYC Pride that his daughter is engaged to a woman.

“Marching in the #NYCPride Parade has special meaning this year as I am marching with my daughter Alison and her wonderful fiancée Biz!” the most powerful Democrat in the Senate tweeted, referring to Elizabeth Weiland.

Their wedding is set for November 18 according to the New York Daily News.

Schumer would not discuss any of the details of their relationship, like how long they have been together.

Alison Schumer is an executive at Facebook, and Weiland is an MBA student.
