Fayaka Dunbar, 26, has been arrested for killing Jason Bradley, a rising drag performer known as Bianca Gisele Davenport Starr, and wounding Bradley’s roommate, Eric Watson. Dunbar is charged with aggravated assault and capital murder.
Police say they believe Dunbar was attempting to steal from Bradley and Watson’s home in what police are describing as a “possible robbery gone bad.” Watson, who was also shot, is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Bradley and Watson were both part of the Davenport drag family. Kennedy Davenport, who appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 7 and who will be making a comeback in the upcoming All-Stars season, and the late Sahara Davenport from season two.
Dunbar is currently being held in jail with a $100,000 bond.
