A stunning new poll shows that over half of Republican voters – 52% – would be okay with postponing the 2020 elections if Donald Trump said it was necessary. In other words, of half of Republicans have lost their damn minds and would support a Trump dictatorship.
The same poll also found that almost half – 47% – thought Trump won the popular vote. In reality, Hillary Clinton garnered almost 3 million more votes than Trump. 68% believe Trump’s ludicrous claim that “millions” of “illegal immigrants” voted in the last election despite being ineligible to vote.
Almost two thirds of respondents thought election fraud is rampant in the country. It isn’t. The only people caught trying to fraudulently cast ballots in the 2016 election were Republicans trying to vote for Trump multiple times.
In related news, state election officials from both sides of the aisle have castigated Trump’s faux commission that is supposedly investigating voter fraud, saying it’s a sham and officials are asking for private information about voters that they will not release.
