Not everyone was pleased to hear Caitlyn Jenner’s political views on “I Am Cait” Sunday night.

Kiro TV reports that Jenner was filmed taking a road-trip to the Human Rights Campaign with a group of other transgender women. When the conversation turned to transgender people facing job discrimination, Jenner said she suspected some might take advantage of social programs.

Mimicking those people, she said, “Why should I work? You know, I got a few bucks. I got my room paid for.”

Jenny Bolan commented, “Caitlyn has every right to be just as conservative as she chooses. But many transgender men and women need social programs to survive, and that’s nothing to be ashamed of.”

It’s not the first time people have taken issue with Jenner’s conservative views. She also drew some ire from fans when she announced she was a Republican when coming out in April.

When her Vanity Fair cover was released, Laverne Cox wrote a Tumblr post stating, “Most trans folks don’t have the privileges Caitlyn and I have now. It is those trans folks we must continue to lift up.”
