The discredited “researcher” Paul Cameron, chairman of the anti-gay Family Research Institute, frequently claims that gay people want to rape children. Or, as he once put it, “The long term goal of the homosexual movement is to get every little boy to grab his ankles and every little girl to give it a try.”

Paul Cameron, the anti-gay leader of the Family Research Institute — who last week suggested that President Barack Obama is gay, and that gays should be imprisoned because they want to rape children — now admits that as a child he felt a physical attraction toward men.

Paul Cameron has suggested that President Obama, who recently announced his support for marriage equality, might be gay. He later maintained that “the long term goal of the homosexual movement is to get every little boy to grab his ankles and every little girl to give it a try,”

Paul Cameron’s Family Research Institute knows what is to blame for Canada’s declining fertility rate…gay rights, of course! In the group’s March memo, the FRI claims that gay rights have contributed to the “decline” of birth rates in the West and is threatening the “future for society.”

NARTH has emerged as the preeminent source of what many regard as “junk science” for the religious right — psychology that underpins the anti-gay movement’s fervent opposition to equal rights and stigmatizes LGBT people as mentally sick.

For the younger folks in the gay community and for the rest who may not be aware: Every lie, every piece of distorted of junk science about the gay community, even some ways in which religious right groups distort actual science to demonize the gay community were either formulated or “improved upon” by Paul Cameron.

Last year when the Southern Poverty Law Center named several religious right groups as anti-gay hate groups, many of them united (with the Family Research Council – one of the groups named – leading the way) in a campaign with the semi- catchy title of Start Debating/Stop Hating…
