Everyone wants thier wedding to be memorable. But two newlyweds took things to a whole new level.

In an Instagram video, one of the attendees revealed the dress code: try to upstage the grooms. And the guests definitely rose the challenge.

“Boy, did we have fun with this one,” they posted in a reel that’s garnered over a hundred thousand views.

“Guests were invited to wear looks that broke all the traditional wedding guidance. There were sequins, patterns, fringe and leather,” they said. “One guest even dug out her own wedding dress and reimagined it for this event.”

And after a reception complete with classic leading ladies, the wedding party headed off to a bowling alley for a wig-bedecked afterparty.

“Man, queer folks know how to have the most fun,” one commenter chimed in on the video. “This is so cute and memorable.” Another added, “Gays really do know how to bring it.”

Three wedding-themed stories have remained in the most shared articles on LGBTQ Nation. There was the gay couple’s mindblowing first dance that shocked their guests, the brides who set their gowns on fire, and the wedding that became a dance party when Lady Gaga started playing.
