Often, when we write about the news, it’s easy to get bogged down in the villains. But the LGBTQ+ community has always been full of good people willing to do the hard work to change the world. There have always been so many heroes among us.
LGBTQ Nation Heroes 2023 is our chance to focus on the heroes instead of the villains. So go check out the LGBTQ+ heroes we’re honoring this year!
This year’s Heroes nominees – 36 across nine categories – represent the best of the community. They’re people who stand up for what’s right, shine a positive light on the community, or give from the heart. They come from a variety of fields – entertainment, journalism, science, activism – but they have all made the LGBTQ+ community better this past year.
Vote once a day until September 30.
