For our second annual Pride in Pictures, LGBTQ Nation asked readers to submit a meaningful photo of themselves at Pride.

We have absolutely loved seeing your joy, your glitter, your fabulous outfits, and of course, your pride. Now, we’re spending the summer sharing some of our favorite photos and stories with all of you.

What makes this photo special to you?

I’m in the middle. Next to me is the Reverend Jennifer Phillips, always an ally and Rector of our Episcopal Parish. She and 2 others marched with us in their clerical clothes at a time when the LGBTQ2S communities were being rejected by their churches. I remember people on the sidelines running up to her in tears, hugging her and thanking her for her support. I was so moved. Now I’m a Priest, walking proudly in my clergy clothes!
