We decided to quarantine, get tested, then go to Provincetown together. Since we missed Pride, we made shirts, each with a different color of the rainbow.
For our second annual Pride in Pictures, LGBTQ Nation asked readers to submit a meaningful photo of themselves at Pride.
We have absolutely loved seeing your joy, your glitter, your fabulous outfits, and of course, your pride. Now, we’re spending the summer sharing some of our favorite photos and stories with all of you.
Our group of friends had gone from seeing each other multiple times a week to not being able to see each other for months. We decided to all quarantine for two weeks, get tested, then go to Provincetown together. Since we missed Pride, we decided to make shirts, each with a different color of the rainbow and each with the logo of our favorite bars/restaurants in Provincetown. Then we had ourselves a little pride “bar crawl.” It was the first time in five months we were able to hug each other, and even if for just a weekend, we got to forget how much of a mess the world around us was.
