Don’t come for Wanda Sykes unless you’ve got the stuff to back it up. Former Happy Days actor and conservative Scott Biao learned that lesson the hard way recently.
The out comedian savaged the once-popular actor after he tried to get smart with her in a convoluted tweet linking Sykes with Joe Biden and Roseanne Barr. His swing didn’t land, but her clapback had to hurt.

Sykes defended presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s recent gaffe about black voters. Last week, when asked by an African American radio host at the end of an interview to come back for another interview, Biden responded off-the-cuff: “You’ve got more questions? Well I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

While conservatives called his comment racist, Sykes wasn’t nearly as conveniently morally outraged. Sykes summed up many black people’s reaction in a tweet pointing out that Biden’s attempt at humor didn’t land, but “he didn’t say 2 go shoot Clorox in our tits.”
Baio, who also starred in the 80s sitcom Charles In Charge, took umbrage at the comment, comparing Biden’s bad joke to Roseanne Barr’s racist meltdown on Twitter. Barr’s reboot of her hit sitcom Roseanne was canceled after Barr called former Obama advisor Valerie Jarret an ape.
Barr’s defense was “I thought the bitch was white!”
Sykes, who was a writer for the show, joined forces with out actor Sara Gilbert, who played the role of Darlene, to help get Barr fired.
But Baio didn’t stop with the swipe about Barr. He called Sykes “a full of shit, hack liberal.”
That’s when Sykes let loose – and she cut the actor, who has battled rumors that he has a small penis, down to size.
Biden feels at home speaking to the Black community. He made a joke. Comedy ain’t easy, but he didn’t say 2 go shoot Clorox in our tits. Now, I wouldn’t make a blanket statement to say that voting for Trump means you’re not Black. I would say that it means you’re not smart.

Hey @iamwandasykes why is it okay for @JoeBiden to say something clearly racist but @therealroseanne gets kicked off of her own show that YOU are a writer on, for making a mistake? Is it because you're a full of shit, hack liberal?

Oh! Hey Chachi. Apologies, I didn’t see you. I’ll keep it short. Joe Biden didn’t say, “Then you ain’t an ape.”
Well, let me get back to work…I hope you enjoy whatever it is that you do. https://t.co/vqHv7fmqgh
