The highly anticipated sequel to Disney’s Mary Poppins is almost here and the studio has dropped a trailer before the December release. And it would seem on one could resist tying the children’s movie to Donald Trump.
The flick picks up years after the first one. The Banks children are grown with kids of their own, but they still need the magical nanny’s help to get through a hard time.

Of course, Trump deplorables quickly started criticizing the movie for being too diverse.
But it wasn’t long before progressives started noticing some similarities and resurfaced an old meme.
“Mary Poppins barges in uninvited, refuses to admit she’s wrong and spends six minutes singing about how awesome she is,” one person tweeted. “She’s Trump.”

Can we somehow get Fox News to start repeating our favorite interpretation of Mary Poppins to get the Trumps to adopt that position? Because we might as well push peak crazy at this point
