The Jerusalem Post reports that Jerusalem Gay Pride attacker Yishai Schlissel has been deemed mentally fit to stand trial following a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation.

Schlissel is accused of stabbing six people at the event and ultimately murdering one. He was evaluated for 48 hours after a previous evaluation was ruled inconclusive.

The ultra-Orthodox Schlisssel was previously arrested and incarcerated for an extremely similar crime at Jerusalem’s Gay Pride parade in 2005.
