Va. college students school homophobic street preacher with song about love

HARRISONBURG, Va. — When an anti-gay preacher stood outside of a James Madison University library in Harrisonburg, Va., this week, to preach the sinfulness of homosexuality, he was greeted by students sharing a song about love and tolerance.

The unidentified preacher was drowned by a chorus of more than 100 student voices singing the song “How He Loves.”

According to various reports on social media, the preacher began his sermon by telling a gay couple holding hands they were going to hell, and once the song was finished, he told students they were all headed “straight to hell.”
