Antigay bakers from Sweet Cakes by Melissa read mean Tweets

The Oregon bakery owners who denied service to a same-sex couple — and just paid $135,000 in state-ordered damages in consequence — are featured in new a Daily Signal segment in which they laughingly read mean Tweets that chastise the couple for their homophobic discrimination.

Melissa and Aaron Klein seem most tickled by a Tweet accusing them of “frostelytizing,” though it takes them a moment to process that it’s a pun on “proselytizing.”

Damages were awarded in July for emotional suffering caused by Sweet Cakes by Melissa, which two years ago refused to make a wedding cake for lesbian couple Laurel and Rachel Bowman-Cryer.

The bakers said their refusal was prompted by religious beliefs.
