NEW YORK — Designer and American Dream Builders host and author Nate Berkus, 42, married designer and TV personality Jeremiah Brent, 29, Saturday at the New York Public Library, reports People magazine.

The couple, who got engaged a year ago in Peru, are the first same-sex couple to hold their wedding at the iconic New York City landmark.

Among the 220 guests were longtime friend Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray, Katie Lee, Rebecca Minkoff, Irene Neuwirth, Busy Philipps and Elizabeth Hendrickson from The Young and the Restless.

The ceremony was officiated by Sheri Salata, president of the Oprah Winfrey Network.
