A new project launched Wednesday is giving LGBT-supportive Christians a public forum for to proclaim their love and acceptance for their their gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender friends and family members.

Conservative talk show host Stan Solomon — who regularly interviews conservative figures including Phyllis Schlafly, E.W. Jackson, Larry Pratt and Alan Keyes — has delivered an epic rant accusing Jews, gays, African Americans and Muslims of being pawns of the Satanic left, hailing the murder of Trayvon Martin and announcing that he hopes “that faggot” Dan Savage dies.

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and activist Dan Savage, founder of the “It Gets Better” project, joined a chorus of LGBT advocates from across the country in condemning a group of students and parents in Sullivan, Ind., who met Sunday to discuss plans for a high school prom that would exclude gay and lesbian students.

Dan Savage, co-founder of the It Gets Better project, said late Thursday he has “removed the (San Francisco) 49ers ‘It Gets Better’ video” from the project’s website after two of the team’s player who appeared in the video said they were unaware they were participating in a project to support LGBT youth.
