Some people aren’t good at metaphors.
Davram Stiefler of The Good Liars, a comedy duo that goes to gatherings of conservatives and asks the MAGA faithful pointed questions, talked to a man at a rally about his top political issue.
He was confronted with evidence that this isn’t happening, but he said he heard otherwise from “other people.”
“No gun-free zones,” the man said, wearing an “All rifles matter” t-shirt and a “Trump 2024” cap.

“You can’t fight fire with water?” Stiefler asked, since that’s generally the substance used to fight fires.
“Depends on what’s in the fire,” the man said.
