Actor and comedian Rob Schneider has jumped aboard the anti-“woke” train as of late, most recently coming after beloved trans TikTok phenomenon Dylan Mulvaney. “If you believe there is such a thing as ‘cultural appropriation.’ Then certainly this gentleman is guilty of ‘gender appropriation,'” Schneider wrote in a seemingly unprompted tweet misgendering Mulvaney.
Earlier this year, Schneider also blasted country singer Garth Brooks for voicing support for Bud Light after right-wingers retaliated against the brand for briefly collaborating with Mulvaney. After Brooks defended the brand and his commitment to inclusivity, Schneider told Fox News that Brooks should “shut his mouth” and “stay out of it.”

“I think the culture is in a very weird little place of hypersensitivity one way or the other,” he said, “And I think that’s why most people shut their mouths. I mean, just from a business standpoint, just shut up, say ‘I have nothing to do with it.'”
He continued, “I’m just as susceptible as Garth—ego. You know, he had to put this in, ‘Well, I think that, you know, I’m a good person because I did…’ And it’s like, shut up.”
In June, Schneider also promoted far-right Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh’s virulently anti-trans documentary, What is a Woman. Schneider called the film “worth watching to engage and discuss this very real danger to our children.”
After Schneider’s most recent attack on Mulvaney, many pointed out his massive hypocrisy after playing a myriad of culturally appropriative roles, as well as roles in which he dresses up as or plays women (most notably in The Hot Chick, in which Schneider plays a man who accidentally swaps bodies with a teenage girl). The former Saturday Night Live star has long been accused of racism in his film performances.
Others came for Schneider for simply being an ignorant bully.
I love that you express your positivity and love for people by trying to influence an entire nation to bully a person who posts videos on tiktok.

Maybe people can finally live their best lives by staying in the closet for fear of bullying. Great job, dude.
